Dixon’s Apple Orchard and Wedding Venue celebrated 2016 newlyweds Saturday, May 7th. Twenty-one couples who got married at Dixon’s Apple Orchard in Chippewa County last year are coming back to the place where they said “I do” to put down roots that will last for decades in the new orchard.

In this second annual event, the owners of Dixon’s Apple Orchard and Wedding Venue, Jim and Becky Mullane, have invited all of the couples who got married at the orchard to come back and plant an apple tree together.

“For us, it is like a family reunion,” Becky Mullane said. “It’s wonderful to see these couples again and celebrate another special memory with them and their families. Last year, we had seven couples at our spring event, and this year, we have triple that number!” The unique newlywed reunion was featured on WEAU and The Chippewa Herald.
