On May 7th, Dixon’s Apple Orchard & Wedding Venue hosted their wedding couples for a fan-favorite event, the annual tree planting. Dixon’s invited the couples from the last three years out to plant a champagne apple which was marked with a plaque displaying their family name.
This event allows couples to quite literally plant their roots in the Chippewa Valley. This year was particularly special as it was a combination of 3 years of couples, post-pandemic. Also, this is the first year of holding this event at Dixon’s Apple Orchard’s sister company, Dixon’s Autumn Harvest Winery.
Watching the trees grow, change, and develop –much like our couples is such a rewarding experience. Couples, their families, and members of the Chippewa Valley will enjoy the apples on these trees for many years to come.
WEAU 13 Came out to Dixon’s Apple Orchard after the event to talk about weddings, wedding trends for 2022, Dixon’s Autumn Harvest Winery, and so much more. Watch the full interview here: Click HERE
